Hatcher continues Lions’ dominance of CFL top player awards with Week 4 nod

TORONTO – B.C. vast receiver Keon Hatcher has been named the highest performer of Week 4 of the CFL season, making it thrice in 4 weeks the Lions have claimed the honour.

Hatcher caught seven passes for 177 yards and a landing within the Lions’ 34-31 win over Ottawa on Thursday.

It was Hatcher’s first profession recreation of 100 or extra yards, highlighted by a 71-yard landing go from Nathan Rourke within the third quarter.

Rourke was named the CFL’s high performer in Week 1 and Week 3. The Lions had a bye in Week 2.

Saskatchewan defensive linemen Anthony Lanier II and Pete Robertson have been additionally honoured as gamers of the week on Tuesday.

Lanier had a career-high three sacks and Robertson had two sacks, a pressured fumble and a fumble restoration within the Roughriders 41-20 victory over Montreal on Saturday.
