The Toronto Police Service has recognized the suspect who allegedly stabbed a 23-year-old lady within the head and face a number of instances on a Spadina streetcar Tuesday afternoon.
Leah Valdez, 43, from Toronto, allegedly approached and stabbed the younger lady on a TTC streetcar heading southbound on Spadina Avenue and Sussex Avenue. Police say Valdez didn’t know the sufferer, who was transported to the hospital and suffered “life-altering accidents.”

Valdez is charged with tried homicide, aggravated assault, carrying a hid weapon, possessing a weapon harmful to public peace and possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon realizing its possession is unauthorized.
